Who We Are

Brief History

IETE Students' Chapter, BIT Sindri was established in the year 2007, since then it is one of the fastest-growing clubs of BIT Sindri. In June 2020 we have attained an even higher and more notable level, yes we are now IETE Students' Forum. IETE Students' Forum, BIT Sindri is a sub branch of IETE National body operating through various centers, spread all over India and abroad. Our aim is the empowerment of youth through technical education and skill development.

What We Do

IETE at BIT Sindri

Throughout the academic year We organize various small events for students to develop their skill set. Some of them are :

We organize Workshops and Seminars on trending topics such as Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, Internet of Things etc.
We also organize webinars on trending topics such as Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, Internet of Things, Web Development, API's and many more.
We organise Tech Udbhav, our Annual Techno-Management Fest. The events under Tech Udbhav are specially choosen and designed for the students so that they can use and enhance their Technical and Managerial skills and win exiciting prizes.
Events like Unicorn, Online quizzing and In-house gaming events.
Technical events on web development, coding and electronics.
We organize small interactive sessions to teach students technical stuffs like Web Development, Arduino and Micro-controllers, Video Editing and many more.
To keep the students updated, we regularly post the developments in latest technologies in the very way of Tech Drive.
We organize regular GM's to discuss about latest Technical trends and social issues.
Regularly post blogs on new technologies on our blog site (IETE Blog Site).

Webinar on "How to crack product based companies?"

IETE Students' Forum presented a golden opportunity, in the form of a webinar,to aspiring coders who dream to land a job in a product based comapny. Mr. Monu Kumar, an expert at Coding Blocks, took up the task to provide the viewers with a detailed rodmap to a career in software engineering.

IETE Students' Forum and Career Development Center, BIT Sindri organized an informative webinar on CP and DSA. Mr. Shyam Kumar Singh from batch 2K18 who is currently placed in Amazon shared his immense knowledge and experience to help guide all the viewers regarding their programming journey..

Hacklane

The webinar 'HACKLANE' ended with a massive ascendancy.All the sessions were highly enlightening for the attendees and the viewers. The workshop aimed to make this an eminent opportunity to grab knowledge and prosper skills in ethical hacking. It focused on Security intelligence, SQL injection, and how to make a career in all this.

Worksop on API 101

In collaboration with POSTMAN a workshop on Application Programming Interface. The workshop aimed to incite tech-geeks to upskill themselves by acquiring a deep knowledge of APIs from scratch by our mentors. Hands-on session to make requests, test APIs & develop APIs.

The event was a fiesta for web developers where they had to make a fronted website and host it. It gave students' an opportunity to show their skills and to shine among such a large crowd.

Workshop on WordPress and its day-to-day uses by our eloquent speaker Mr. Sagar Mondal (Founder & Growth Head of SquashCode). The session made us aware of simply putting a static design and engaging websites to attract more viewers.
